Christmas front door

While Im still knee deep in holiday decorating I thought I would show you my front door.  This year I wanted something simple and natural.  I still loved the idea of the trio of wreaths like I did last year, but those who know me well know that I never like to do the same thing twice.

I purchased two pinecone wreaths from this lovely lady on Etsy and bought the fresh evergreen wreath from a local nursery.  The black and white check ribbon is from three Christmases ago and the faux boxwood spheres are from HomeGoods last year.

And here is a little peek into whats going on in the inside of the house:

Hopefully I will have more Christmas photos to share next week.

Cheers!

  5. So pretty! Mantel's are one of my favorite parts of the holiday season! I actually have a technical question for you, regarding how you hung the wreath from the mirror. I have a similar style mirror (it's the Bellesol mirror from Ballard Designs, for reference)above my mantel and I bought a small wreath specifically for this purpose. I'm just stumped on what the best way to hang it would be. I'd like to avoid taking the mirror down, but will if I have to. Just curious how an expert like yourself would do it ;-)
