Where I Blog

Kate over at Centsational Girl asked us to post a picture of where we blog. I had to laugh because I truly do have my "spot" that is strictly mine. Its in a large very worn, comfy leather chair that sits in the corner of my living room between two windows. It gets great light and I have a direct view to the kids in the other room. Every morning after I get my oldest off to school, I grab my cup of Tea Latte and settle in to peruse my daily favorite blogs. (Kates included, of course!).

Nell Hills

If you have never heard of Mary Carol Garrity of Nell Hills you are missing out!! Next to Carolyne Roehm she is my favorite when it comes to seasonal decorating and party throwing. I found these pictures of a dining room table she did for Thanksgiving and loved the cream pumpkins.

I immedieatly ran to my fall box and pulled out mine that I had spray painted last year.








And I am so totally copying this idea for my urns & lanterns for the front yard.

Small touches of fall

Im beginning to pull out my fall boxes (all to the rolling of my hubby eyes!) Hey its hot outside, but that doesn't meant it doesnt have to "feel" like fall inside.

Heres my new front door creation:




I've just started working on the dining room table. Since I repainted the room-Im having to re-think my seasonal decor.


And here I took a garage sale urn ($1) added some pumpkins & grapevine. So cheap & easy. Not sure if I will keep it here may move it elsewhere.
